- Both models are 59″ wide — the width of two glass panes. The length difference determines which greenhouse models each fits (see Compatibility).
Compatibility
- 250: recommended for Royal Victorians (VI 23, 34, 36, 46), Junior Victorians, 12′7″ wide Gigants, and Arcadias 1–2 panes deep
- 350: recommended for Moderns, Gigants 15′ and wider, and Arcadias 3–4 panes wide
- May be used in single sections as needed — multiples required for full coverage
- For full roof coverage (both sides):
- VI 23: 4x 250 (up to 48″ may drape down the sidewall)
- VI 34: 6x 250 (up to 33″ drapes down)
- VI 36: 8x 250 (up to 33″ drapes down)
- VI 46: 8x 250 (up to 19″ drapes down)
- Modern 23: 2x 350
- Modern 34: 3x 350
- Modern 36: 4x 350
- Check for obstructions before ordering: support scrolls, supports (VI 46), Modern triangle supports, portal frames in Gigants, and odd numbers of glass panes may require on-site adaptations — and spindle roof vent openers will not be accessible behind the cloth

Description
The Janssens Interior Shade Cloth is a fixed shading solution designed specifically for Janssens greenhouses. It attaches at the ridge, gutter, and sidewall using three black aluminum straps, keeping the cloth taut and in place — no sliding mechanism, nothing to adjust. The result is a clean, minimal look that fits naturally inside the greenhouse structure.
Each cloth is pure white polyester that reflects heat rather than absorbing it, blocking 40–50% of direct sunlight. One cloth covers two glass panes (59″ wide) on one side of the roof, so you can start with a single section over your hottest spot and add more for full coverage whenever you’re ready.
Before ordering, check the Compatibility section for which model fits your greenhouse, how many cloths full coverage takes, and any structural features — like scroll supports or spindle vent openers — that may require on-site adjustments.
