The Janssens Shade Curtains are designed to hang along the interior ridge of your Janssens greenhouse, blocking a portion of direct sunlight before it reaches your plants. Glass greenhouses let in full, unfiltered light — which is great in cooler months but can create heat stress and too-bright conditions in summer. These curtains give you a straightforward way to manage that without modifying the structure.
They run along the length of the greenhouse and attach using built-in loops and included mounting hardware. Each kit is sized specifically for your greenhouse model, so you get the right coverage without having to piece anything together. They can also help reduce how often you need to water, since shading slows moisture loss from soil and leaves.
One thing to be aware of before ordering: these curtains cannot slide past scroll supports. If your greenhouse has decorative scroll supports, that will limit where the curtain can be positioned.
