Assembly & Warranty
- Easiest installed during greenhouse assembly: the mounting hooks slot into the frame channels as the structure goes up
- Retrofitting is possible: on an assembled greenhouse, you'll need to drill holes to insert the hooks into the channel

- Made for Janssens glass greenhouses: select your model above and the kit arrives sized for it
- Fits the Royal Victorian (VI 23, 34, 36, 46), Junior Victorian (J-Vic 23, 24, 25), and both Orangeries
- Scroll supports: curtains cannot slide past them — if your greenhouse has decorative scroll supports, that limits where the curtain can be positioned

Description
The Janssens Shade Curtains are designed to hang along the interior ridge of your Janssens greenhouse, blocking a portion of direct sunlight before it reaches your plants. Glass greenhouses let in full, unfiltered light — which is great in cooler months but can create heat stress and too-bright conditions in summer. These curtains give you a straightforward way to manage that without modifying the structure.
They run along the length of the greenhouse and attach using built-in loops and included mounting hardware. Each kit is sized specifically for your greenhouse model, so you get the right coverage without having to piece anything together. They can also help reduce how often you need to water, since shading slows moisture loss from soil and leaves.
When to install: the easiest time is during greenhouse assembly, when the hooks can slot straight into the frame channels. Already built? The curtains can still be retrofitted — you’ll just need to drill holes to insert the hooks into the channel. If you’re ordering a Janssens greenhouse now, add the curtains to the same order and save yourself the drilling.
One more thing to be aware of: these curtains cannot slide past scroll supports. If your greenhouse has decorative scroll supports, that will limit where the curtain can be positioned.
