Description
The Dr. Infrared Industrial Heater is the heater we point to when a greenhouse is too big for a plug-in space heater. Its fan circulates warmed air through the whole structure, so a large greenhouse warms up quickly and stays even from end to end, without the hot-and-cold patches a small heater leaves behind.
The built-in thermostat holds whatever temperature you set between 45°F and 95°F, and the fan can run all the time or only while the heater is working. Safety features include a fully enclosed motor and a steel safety grille, and it comes with a one-year warranty.
One thing to check before you order: this is a 240-volt heater. It needs a 208–240 V circuit on a 30-amp breaker and a NEMA 6-30 outlet, the same kind of outlet a clothes dryer uses. If you’re not sure what your greenhouse has, send us a photo of the outlet or a note about your electrical setup and we’ll help you sort it out.
