Milkhouse Electric Heater

$149.99

Features
  • Frost protection you can plug in anywhere: runs on a standard 120 V outlet, so no electrician and no special circuit
  • Keeps a small greenhouse above freezing: up to 1,500 watts (about 5,100 BTU) is right-sized for greenhouses around 120 sq ft
  • Use only the heat you need: choose 1,500 W, 1,300 W, or fan only, and the thermostat knob cycles the heater off once the space is warm
  • Even warmth, not one hot corner: the built-in fan moves air through the greenhouse instead of heating the spot in front of it
  • Built to be left running: shuts itself off if it overheats or tips over, and the light shows when it's on

Description

The Milkhouse Electric Heater is the simplest way to keep a small greenhouse from freezing. Plug it into a regular outlet, turn the knob, and it holds the space above frost on cold nights. It’s the heater most of our Riga and Junior Victorian customers start with.

You can run it at 1,500 or 1,300 watts, or switch to fan-only to move air on milder days. The thermostat cycles it off once the greenhouse is warm, so it only draws power when it’s needed. Safety is built in too: it shuts off if it overheats or gets knocked over.

It’s sized for greenhouses around 120 square feet. If yours is larger, or you’re trying to hold a warm temperature rather than just stay above freezing, send us your model and location and we’ll help you pick the right size.
