Description

These exterior wood slatted shades are a practical shading solution with a look that genuinely suits the Victorian greenhouse. Narrow Bengkirai hardwood slats sit over the roof panels, filtering direct sun and keeping interior temperatures more comfortable on hot summer days — while adding a natural, warm aesthetic to the outside of the structure.

Bengkirai is a dense Indonesian hardwood that’s naturally resistant to weather, rot, and insects — so these are built to stay outside year after year without deteriorating. Triple sections are cut to accommodate a roof vent, so ventilation isn’t blocked. Singles are designed for vent-free panels only.

One thing to plan for before ordering: the placement of your roof vents during greenhouse assembly determines how well these shades will fit. If you’re purchasing a greenhouse and already know you want wood shades, it’s worth reviewing the recommended vent placement diagram before you build.
