The Juwel Year-Round Cold Frame is a small cold frame you don’t have to put away when summer comes. In spring and fall, the twin-wall polycarbonate lid holds warmth so you can start seedlings early and keep greens going late. When it gets hot, slide the polycarbonate cover out of the lid frame and a mesh screen is already there underneath.
That screen is what makes it useful all year. It keeps insects, birds, and hail off your plants while letting air and rain through, so the same frame that protected your lettuce from frost in March protects it from cabbage moths in July.
It’s made in Austria, arrives with the top partially pre-assembled, and measures 50″ x 23″.
