Description
The Eden Pyramid Raised Garden Bed is three raised beds in one kit, and how you arrange them is up to you. Stack the 4′, 3′, and 2′ tiers centered and you get a pyramid with a deep bed in the middle and planting ledges stepping down on each side. Stack them to one edge and it’s a waterfall. Or don’t stack them at all and use them as three separate beds.
Stacked, it covers a 4′ square, stands 17.5″ high, and gives you 16 square feet of growing surface, with soil deep enough at the center for root crops and perennials. Raised soil is easier to reach, warms earlier in spring, never gets walked on, and starts out free of the yard’s weed seeds.
The boards are solid fir, which resists rot on its own, and they go together in about 30 minutes without tools. Leave the wood natural and let it silver, or stain, paint, or seal it to match the garden.
